Ricardo has more than 15 years in the Hospitality Industry and is a member of the Private Equity – Hospitality team at Explorer Investments. He focuses on analyzing and executing investment, development, and divestment opportunities, recruiting and developing operational talent, and leading strategic and financial planning for each asset.

EXPERIENCE

Previously he worked in EDP – Energias de Portugal (2014 to 2018), where he ran the Holding Company’s Strategic Risks and Transversal Projects Area. Between 2007 and 2014 he was a consultant at Mc Kinsey & Co where he developed and led projects in Portugal, United Kingdom and Africa within the financial, telecommunications and energy sectors, with a focus on strategy, marketing/sales and risk.

EDUCATION

He has an MBA from INSEAD Business School and a Masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Instituto Superior Técnico.
